Resumo
O desenvolvimento sustentável como alternativa ao modelo hegemônico atual pretende minimizar os efeitos de risco causados pela própria sociedade. O “Fundo Amazônia” consiste em uma colaboração transnacional de diversos atores que pretendem promover o uso sustentável das florestas no Bioma Amazônia. Este artigo buscou analisar as interferências de atuação do Estado no Sul da Amazônia, por meio do projeto SDS Amazonas, bem como suas relações com o
desenvolvimento sustentável das populações beneficiadas. Foi possível analisar as ações já realizadas pelo projeto e, assim, sugerir alternativas às limitações identificadas.
Abstract
Sustainable development as an alternative to the current hegemonic model aims to minimize the effects of risk caused by society itself. The “Amazon Fund” consists of a transnational collaboration of various actors, seeking to promote the sustainable use of forests in the Amazon Biome. This paper aims to analyze the interference of state action in the South in Amazon, through the Amazon SDS project as well as its relations with the
sustainable development of the beneficiary populations. It was possible to analyze the actions already taken by the project, and thus suggest alternatives to the limitations identified.
